Safety & Social Distancing

The safety of our teams and members is our number one priority, and while things might look a little different, our clubs continue to provide a premium health and fitness experience. We are incorporating extensive cleaning protocols and social distancing practices throughout our clubs. Key measures include:

  • In line with the new guidelines, anyone entering the club must present a Green Pass that demonstrates at least a valid vaccination or a negative PCR / antigen test result of less than 48 hours. For more information, please contact the club.
  • Limiting the number of members in certain areas of the club. Hand sanitiser stations are located in reception and throughout the club.
  • Using a viricidal disinfectant cleaning solution, proven to kill enveloped viruses within 60 seconds.
  • Enhanced cleaning schedules to maintain high level of hygiene, particularly across high contact points in the club.
  • Reduced class occupancy to allow for social distancing.
  • Team members are sanitising equipment after every class.
  • More space has been created in the gym and additional gym spaces introduced at most clubs so you can exercise at a safe distance.
  • We now have a concierge to greet members, ask them to sanitise their hands and help familiarise them with their new-look club.

TENNIS & PADEL COURTS

We're so pleased that our match-quality indoor and outdoor tennis courts are now open. As well as our indoor airy padel courts.

Courts are available for members aged 5 and above, so whether you're a racquets lover or new to the sport, you can enjoy a game of singles or doubles with fellow members. Group coaching sessions and organised social sessions are also back on the timetable.

To make sure you stay safe, courts must be booked in advance, and we've set aside 10 minutes between bookings to allow staff to clean all touchpoints and ready the court for the next players.

Eat, work & socialise

Our Clubrooms and outdoor dining areas are now open for you to relax, work or socialise with family, friends and fellow members. You can enjoy lots of your favourite dishes from our main menu or just enjoy a drink on our terrace.

Plus, if you fancy a change of scene, our spacious Clubrooms or adult area are a perfect alternative to working from home, with fast Wi-Fi and comfortable seating providing a great environment to get on with some work. And of course, we're ensuring social distancing is maintained at all times.

Stay safe, stay active

If you are planning a visit to a Club, please keep the following in mind:
  • We are closely following government guidelines, and we will amend our procedures in line with any changes to regulations.
  • Please do not come to the club if you feel unwell and let us know if you or anyone in your household develop Covid-19 symptoms.
  • Help keep yourself safe by wiping down equipment before and after use and washing your hands frequently.
  • Do not remove cleaning materials/hand sanitiser from the Club.
  • Please bring your own towel, yoga mat and water bottle.
  • Please keep social distancing in mind at all times, and leave plenty of space between yourself and other members.
  • Download the David Lloyd mobile app - you'll need to use it to book all classes, courts and kids classes.
  • Please be patient, polite and observe all notices, but of course if you have feedback do let us know.
  • Please remember to wear a face covering in all the indoor communal areas of the Club.
